You have a dream that may seem unlikely or even ridiculous to someone else. This person may see nothing wrong with laughing at your idea and even belittling it through harsh criticism. How does that feel? While it’s easy to see the lack of sensitivity someone shows to an endeavor of yours, it isn’t always so easy to be objective when it comes to expressing your own viewpoint to someone else. While you are probably not being cruel or demeaning, you may now be offering criticism of someone else’s dream. But instead, try offering what you would want to hear if you were in the other person’s shoes.
